Moody National Bank employs a combination of proven access methods with security techniques to ensure the protection of your account:

  • Valid user ID and password entries are required to access the service
  • Passwords may be changed online by users at any time
  • All communications between your computer and Moody National Bank are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer Technology. This means your account information and social security numbers cannot be seen by others over the Internet
  • Log-in sessions have a time-out limit. After the limit is reached, you are required to log-in again

6. How do I access my Moody Online account?

Select Login to Moody Online from our Moody National Bank website. You will be prompted to enter your:

  • Moody Online ID
  • Pin Number

7. What can I do once I have accessed my account.

  • Check balances
  • Confirm deposits/ withdrawals
  • Look for serial numbers
  • View checks cleared and reconcile accounts
  • Transfer funds from one internal account to another
  • Access transactions and view statements
  • View account history
  • View checks online

8. Does Moody Online allow me to download transactions?

Yes, you can download into:

  • Microsoft Money
  • most Spread Sheet programs
  • most Word Processing Documents

9. What is required if I have forgotten my Moody Online ID?

You will need to contact your nearest branch and fill out a form to reset the password. It takes up to 3 business days for your password to be reset.

10. What happens if I enter the wrong password?

You will get an invalid password prompt. Moody Online allows you to re-enter the password 3 times. After the third incorrect password entry, the user is locked out. The account remains locked until you visit your nearest Moody Bank location and sign a Moody Online Action Form. This additional security measure prevents someone from trying to guess your password.

11. Can I access Commercial accounts with Moody Online?

Yes, if you are an authorized signer on the account.

12. What does it mean when I get this error message?

"The ID or PIN number you entered is invalid"

  • You have entered an incorrect number. Check your number and re-enter it
  • If you have created your own personal ID number, please follow the directions
  • Your personal ID number must consist of 4 to 12 characters and begin with 2 letters for the system to accept it
  • If you have entered the wrong PIN number, the system will allow you to re-enter it. After the third incorrect PIN number entry, the system will lock you out

13. What are the Transaction Descriptions?

  • A Teller Pro Debit is a check item that is in the process of clearing from your account.
  • A Fed Letter refers to checks clearing from the Federal Reserve System
  • POS stands for Point of Sale.
  • Regular Check
  • ATM is an automated teller machine transaction

14. Which accounts can be used with the Bill Pay service?

  • Checking Account (Regular)
  • Commercial
  • Chex + (Now account)

15. How do I access Bill Pay?

  • You will access Bill Pay through Moody Online
  • You will receive your information in two separate letters within 10 business days from Metavante/Bill Pay
  • These packets will include your Bill Pay ID and Password

16. Is there a feature to help guide you through the Bill Pay screens?

Yes. There is a Help feature which guides you through the Bill Pay screens.

17. Can I postdate a single payment?

Yes. Set the payment date for any date in the future. Single payments can be scheduled as either current or future payments.

18. How does Moody National Bank secure my banking information?

We have extremely high criteria to guarantee the security of your online banking information. A few of these are listed below:

  • Your banking information never travels the Internet without encryption protection
  • Log-in sessions have a time-out limit. After the limit is reached you are required to log-in again
