Houston Business Journal Honors Moody Bank at the 2024 Best Family-Owned Business Awards

HOUSTON, TEXAS – Moody Bank was recognized by Houston Business Journal at the 2024 Best Family-Owned Business Awards as a large company honoree.

 

The companies selected were chosen by HBJ staff and nominated by members of the Houston business community for their excellence in community investment. They were categorized based on employee count, with all nominees required to meet three specific criteria to be considered:

 

  • Be at least 51% owned by the family.
  • Have multiple generations involved in the operations of the company and/or have established longevity in business.
  • Located in one of the Houston area's 10 counties: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, San Jacinto and Waller.

 

The awards ceremony was held on Thursday, June 20 at the Marriott Marquis Houston.
